NOTE FOR ANDROID USERS
To properly configure VR mode for the Android version of Maze by Seedling (which is designed to work only with phone-sized devices/viewers), you'll need to first install Google's free "Cardboard" app, available here. Within that app, you'll then be able to follow the directions below for setting up your VR viewer for use with Maze.
In addition, we'll be adding more features to the Android version very shortly, so please stay tuned!
SETTING UP YOUR VR VIEWER
When first using the Maze app with your VR Viewer, the app will ask you to scan a QR code. Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet (only required during scanning), then use the following code:
Bonus VR Viewer:
DIY VR Viewer Kit:
Note: If you’re using a different VR viewer, select “I Have Another VR Viewer” and follow the steps to use its QR code instead.
If you find VR mode to be blurry, please tap “Change VR Viewer” on the “How Would You Like To Play?” screen to recalibrate using the QR code above (you’ll need to be connected to the Internet during this process). Remember, you can always choose to play with the “Device Only” option.
INSERT PHONE IN YOUR VR VIEWER
Pick up the virtual reality viewer and fold the side flaps into place. Slide your smartphone into the slot on the front of your virtual reality viewer, and secure the top flap into place. Step inside your imagination.
BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI CONNECTIVITY
If desired, mazes can be created and played with the device in Airplane mode, however the “Play With Friends” feature requires Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth to be enabled.
