As someone from drought-stricken California, I’m especially appreciative of all the water play opportunities offered in this northern city! This playground is great. Take a bike ride around Stanley Park and stop off at this spot on your way around the peninsula.
Authentic Chinese Hon excellent place to grab a big plate of authentic Chinese noodles, and maybe a beer, with a low-key cafeteria vibe perfect for the unpredictable actions of small children.
As everyone with small children knows, caffeine is a necessity! This cute brick-walled spot will make you feel like a sophisticated grown-up for at least few minutes out of your day.
This playground is especially great in the summer because there’s a big free waterslide and a wonderful sand play space, as well as lots of excellent restaurants on the island to grab lunch.
I love this slightly grittier part of town, especially the huge playground. Lots of exciting pieces of equipment appropriate for all ages of children. I always grab a coffee at the cute cafe, and stop off at Dilly Dally Kids and Dandelion Kids, two amazing children's shops nearby.
